With everything that is going on in the world it is only natural that we worry about the future: "How is everything going to play out, will life get worse, will it get better, what can I do to make sure that I stay safe, comfortable even, what do I need to do? These are all valid thoughts and at the same time, let us not forget to stop breathing. Yes the future is uncertain but the truth is: it always was and always will be. Worrying is not going to change our future, it will only taint our present. So let us not forget to cherish what we have today!

Something comes to our hands without us expecting is. We get a present or we simply find something of which we cannot track the owner. In that case it is probably meant for us to have. So let us enjoy the little gifts and the simple pleasures that life sometimes bestows on us. There is enough hardship in the world to lose our sense of gratitude, so let us practice being thankful for gifts that are given to us.

The Wise Man is about experience, about the fact that no matter how great the education we have received, some lessons are best learned through living them. Today we celebrate the personal power that comes with lived experience. May we explore the world without fear or inhibition!

Anything is possible. When we look at our lives from the safe distance of the Hilltop, the oracle coin of today's Daily Cast, we see so many options, so many possibilities and so many opportunities. It's great! If we ever wanted to reinvent ourselves, this is the time to give it some serious thought. The energie in the world is shifting, the seasons turn, and in some places chaos is afoot. Let's think about what we want the outcome of our lives to be and adjust our actions accordingly. 

No longer bound by the cyclic demands of her body, the wise woman enjoys her freedom and independence. She sets her own rules and makes her own destiny.  Like her we can develop our own point of view once we break free from old patterns or old alliances. This particular set of coins does often appear in a cast when the querent  has recently separated from their spouse and is in the process of finding his/her own values in life. By it's positive connotations this cast strengthens the resolve of the parties involved to each follow their own path. That is the beauty of truly setting each-other free; everybody wins.

Not too long ago we made a decision. We knew that something needed to be done, whether we liked it or not. And as always, in the last moment before the consequences of our decision are coming to pass, we doubt ourselves: "Is this really necessary? Did I make the right decision? Are there no other options left?"  The Daily Cast of today is here to reassure us. We do not have to worry about our decision, we have chosen to the best of our abilities and today we need to follow it through. It will work out.

Today is about community, about family and friends. We might need their help, or they might need ours. We have to make sure that we are the family member we would like our family members to be, for without strong family bonds life is harder. Not unsurmountable, but harder. I wish you all to have a happy and supportive family.

Sometimes it is a good idea to take a step back in order to create some distance between ourselves and our subject, but not today! This cast clearly states that we have to come down our mountain, that we have to roll up our sleeves and put our feet in the mud. For a firm grasp on the situation we need to fully immerse ourselves in it. Whatever we need to accomplish, it doesn't help if we do not truly engage ourselves with it. 

We are trying to make sense of the world by thinking our way through our challenges either on a personal or on a worldly level. Once we understand what is happening we can make peace with it right? Not in this case. Our rational mind is not up to the task today. Instead of understanding on a cognitive level what we are facing, we have to fall back on our gut-feeling. Does it feel right? Than it is so and we can relax. Does it feel wrong? Than we need to take action. 

The oak, symbol of strength and sometimes money, is flanked by Nadir and the Opponent. This indicate that we are facing some discomfort. We might feel a bit fragile, lacking our normal resilience or we might worry over our finances. If possible, let's stay home and be gentle with ourselves. If we have to go out, let's take extra care to wear clothing that makes us feel comfortable and safe. Try not to spend money if avoidable. We need some extra protection today. 

Today is the day we make up our minds. The reason that I have used the sword to symbolize the decision-making process is for this reason: in order to decide well, we need to cut away all we do no not want anymore and all that is harmful. Doing that will reveal the things we truly need in our live and making a decision suddenly becomes easy. Early spring is a time to do away with the cobwebs and decide what we want to do with the unfolding season!

Are we were we want to be, and do our surroundings  contribute to whom we are? Our place in the world, our status at our work, our role within our family or within our local community, are they satisfactory to us? It is time to evaluate our social roles to establish whether or not we are happy with them. If we are, good for us! If not... let's think on how we want them to be so we can gravitate towards a place were we truly belong.
