Welcome to the Daily Cast

The daily cast is a three coin cast. Every day (well, almost every day) I randomly pick one oracle coin from the pouch. Than I take the two structural coins (Axis Mundi, the green one and the Sirius coin, the red one) and cast the coins. My interpretation of the result is presented here.

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1579: In The Old Days

We don't have to come up with all the ideas and solutions on our own. Way before we started thinking about ways of troubleshooting in our lives our ancestors already found their own ways of dealing with things. Just because an idea is old doesn't mean it's outdated... So for today, let us be inspired by the wisdom of those who walked the earth before us. There were quite a few ideas in the old days that we can benefit from today!

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1578: Our worries will pass!

Last time we looked at the coins we got the exact same constellation. Apparently there is reason to worry and we are effected by it. Given the state of the world this shouldn't come as a surprise. We are challenged to keep anxiety at bay and to guard our mental health with determination. Meditate, use breathing exercises or engage in sport, anything that works for you. Whatever we are going through, individually, as a nation or even globally; this too shall pass!

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1577: Don't Waste Your Time With Worries

Are we worried about what is to come? The Raven Coins seem to indicate that we are anxiously awaiting the future, not sure if the changes we see ahead are going to be beneficial to us. Let us try not to spend our time with fearing the future: that is only tainting our present while it probably doesn't change what is coming to us. Life is that which is happening today while we are preparing for tomorrow. Let's make it worthwhile and deal with the future once it is here.

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1576: Once Started it is a Responsibility

It is so tempting to start a new project to pour all our enthusiasm and energy into...but is this the right time? If we are honest with ourselves, did we properly finish the last project we started? Do we really have the time to throw ourselves into in new endeavor? When we start something we need to see it through as well, otherwise we leave a trail of orphaned projects behind where ever we go and that benefits nobody. So let's take responsibility for the things we have committed ourselves to before taking on any new projects.

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1574: What Is Our Talent?

Nobody is exactly like me, and nobody is exactly like you. Let that sink in; you are absolutely unique, even if you belong to a set of 'identical twins', than still you're not really identical. If we are not sure what our unique talents are, today is a good day to think about that. What is it that makes us uniquely us?  We don't have to develop a trait or a skill to be unique; it is already manifested, we only need to find it and learn how to treasure it.

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1573: Ask Grandma!

There are some good, solid lessons we can take from our ancestors. We do not have to come up with new solutions every time we encounter a problem. The most literal interpretation of this particular set of coins is to just go to our parents or grandparents and ask them about their view on the matter. The answer to our question is probably already part of their lived experience so let's use that information!

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1572: Give and Receive!

Somebody is always trying to help others but when it comes to them needing a little help themselves, they find it really difficult to ask for it. And if they do ask somebody to help them, they  have a tendency to either still do most of the work themselves or they try to micromanage those who come to their aid. That is the challenge of the Lady who finds it difficult to let go of her control over the situation. So, a moment of honesty; is this us? Or is it somebody we actually try to help but isn't really letting us? In either case we need patience and gentleness towards this person. There is no shame in accepting help, and allowing somebody to help out can be an empowering experience for both parties. So let us learn to give as well a receive together.

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1571: Lessons From The Past

We are constantly re-inventing ourselves while keeping our gaze firmly fixed upon the future. In this strive for rejuvenation and growth we have a tendency to brush aside all experience and knowledge that our ancestors have to offer. But if we forget the lessons learned in our past, we might remake the mistakes of the past as well. So let's heed history, both our own personal history as well as human history as a whole. Ignoring history is dangerous!

Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1570: Let's Finish First

It is so tempting to start a new project to pour all our enthusiasm and energy into...but is this the right time? If we are honest with ourselves, did we properly finish the last project we started? Raven Coins Daily Cast - 1568: We Worry, but Why?

We tend to worry about things that are yet to come, completely forgetting about all the things we already have going on in life. Let's not spend our energy worrying over events that might never happen and in stead enjoy all the goodness we have to our disposal right now. Who knows what tomorrow brings? It might be wonderful!
